______
This square, name after Umberto I, is the centerpiece of Monte Rinaldo’s historic center. It opens gracefully among brick houses and sweeping views of the surrounding hills. Here, history, community, and architecture come together: the square has long served as a place for markets, gatherings, and both civic and religious celebrations. At its eastern corner rises the Civic Tower, elegant in its simplicity. Once a lookout and landmark for the fortified village, it now stands tall with its 18th-century clock, still marking the rhythm of daily life for the community.
